🎤Why does this Founder not use ChatGPT to create original content?

Welcome back to another episode of Down & Dirty with Dr. T. and this time Taapsi is in conversation with Zahara Kanchwalla.

Zahara is the co-founder and CEO of Rite KnowledgeLabs, a content-first digital agency focused on thought leadership. Founded in 2015, the company works with large multinational clients to handle their content and communication needs by building corporate websites, running corporate social media, and more.

As a founder, Zahara juggles numerous tasks every day and relies on a variety of tools to enhance her workflow. Among these, ChatGPT is the one she uses the most.

Highlights from the episode:

  • A day in the life: Zahara's days are busy, packed with customer calls, reviewing content deliverables, hiring new team members, and resolving urgent issues. She tells Taapsi how she tackles these issues and the tools she uses to make her life easier.
  • ChatGPT for repetitive tasks: Zahara’s main use case for ChatGPT is not content creation but to handle repetitive tasks like drafting reminder emails, thus freeing up time to focus on creating thoughtful content.  Via screenshare, she shows an example email announcing an office policy change from 2 in-office days a week to 3.
  • Not using ChatGPT to create content?: Zahara estimates that AI collaboration plays a significant role in enhancing and ideating, accounting for 30-40% of her work, but less than 10% for the actual writing. She compares a human-generated piece of content to the same piece created by AI and outlines why the human generated content is superior.
